In order to understand our mission here at the CLP, one must answer one question. What is Carbon Capture and Sequestration? The basic concept is fairly simple. Take Carbon Dioxide that would otherwise be present in the atmosphere, capture and contain it, then place it into long term storage.

A big focus at CLP is utilizing the Carbon Capture potential of trees and other flora. After all, they are a naturally occurring method of direct air capture, taking Carbon Dioxide out of the atmosphere and putting it into storage in the tree’s internal structure.
